- Design, develop, and optimise automated, scalable manufacturing processes and equipment solutions.
- Lead equipment selection, specification, and integration in collaboration with vendors and automation partners.
- Act as the primary technical interface with external vendors and subcontract manufacturers, ensuring performance, quality, and delivery standards are met.
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, repeatability, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and stabilise production processes, delivering continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and execute process validation and equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise performance and reduce waste. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support product development and commercial scale-up.
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Level 8 or equivalent).
- 5–7 years’ experience in regulated medical device manufacturing or process development, with a strong focus on automation and equipment.
- Proven experience working with external vendors, equipment suppliers, or contract manufacturers.
- Strong expertise in process validation, equipment qualification, automation technologies, and structured problem solving.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills.
