The role involves reporting to the Lead Project Manager directs the activities of contract consultant engineering design and installation personnel in the implementation of assigned capital project.Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the execution of assigned projects or specific segments of major projects.
- Leads project teams, comprised of both external consultant engineering design and construction personnel, as well as internal cross-functional team members.
- Manages projects through the Capital Management Process and Project Delivery Roadmap.
- Oversees the preparation of project Basis of Design documents, Cost Estimates, and Schedules, ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, GMP, and financial requirements.
- Directs project detailed design, equipment specifications, and formulates project execution strategy.
- Prepares and approves contract documents for various project disciplines, including Architectural/Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical/Instrumentation, and selects competent contractors for installation.
- Coordinates equipment commissioning, identifies training requirements for operations and Maintenance personnel, and ensures smooth handover of equipment and project files to relevant departments.
- Supervises the preparation and approval of Equipment Validation documentation, overseeing Installation Qualification and liaising with technical and operating personnel for Operational and Performance Qualification.
