Job Description – Banqueting Service StaffTraining Provided – Flexible Hours – Good PayWe are looking for new team members to join the waiting staff at Markree Castle. This job is ideal for anyone who wants flexible working hours in a friendly and professional environment. Previous experience is helpful but not required, as full training will be given.Shifts are usually 6–10 hours long, starting around 3pm or 5pm and finishing between 12am and 1am.Before You Apply

You will need to have your own transport arranged, as public transport is not available late at night.
You must be able to work at least 2 midweek shifts (Sunday to Thursday).

Your Role – Wedding & Event Food ServiceAs part of the wedding and banqueting team, you will play an important role in making each event a success. This includes:

Setting up event spaces before service, including laying tables, polishing cutlery, preparing glassware, and arranging décor.
Welcoming guests and helping with seating where needed.
Serving plated meals to guests in a professional and timely manner.
Carrying and clearing multiple plates confidently during service.
Offering wine service and topping up drinks throughout the meal.
Tray service of canapés and beverages during the drinks reception.
Responding to guest requests politely and with attention to detail.
Assisting with cake service and evening food where required.
Clearing and resetting tables quickly and neatly between courses.
Working as part of a team to ensure smooth, efficient service that reflects the high standards of Markree Castle.
