We will upskill you to be able to carry out heat pump and gas appliance installation, servicing and repairs work, and providing our customers with an excellent in-home customer experience. You’ll also receive training in smart technologies, heat pumps, gas, oil, and other renewables on an ongoing basis.If you are a highly motivated individual committed to delivering a great customer experience and would like the chance to play a role in shaping the energy services market in Ireland, this could be the opportunity for you!About the Role
  • Installation of central heating boilers, including system and control upgrades
  • Installation of and maintenance of heat pumps to retrofit properties
  • Installation of and maintenance of oil boilers
  • Service, repair, and safety inspection of all domestic heating appliances
  • Service and repair of domestic central heating and hot water plumbing systems
  • First time diagnosis and repair of heating appliances and system faults
  • Upgrade and installation of central heating system controls with smart technologies
  • Carry out a range of electrical safety tests on domestic heating installations
  • Correctly locate, install, and verify CO alarms to current gas standards
  • Carry out a range of testing with Combustion Gas Analysers including room safety
  • Responsibility for all aspects of central heating installation and customer safety
  • Generate, organise, and maintain company and regulatory documentation
  • Participation in the Bord Gáis Energy wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, safety, and quality systems
About You
  • You’ll have a National craft certificate in plumbing
  • You’re driven individual with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Aptitude for fault finding logic would be an advantage
  • Full clean Irish driving license
  • Strong interpersonal and customer skills, with the ability to work with the general public and within a wider team with specific targets
  • A positive, safe attitude and approach to all work and training activities
  • RGII registration an advantage
