Linesman

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical power lines in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform inspections and troubleshoot electrical faults on power lines and equipment.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment safely to complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to minimize risks on job sites.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other team members to ensure project completion.
• Operate vehicles and equipment such as bucket trucks and cranes safely and effectively.
• Document work performed and report any issues or concerns promptly.
• Respond to emergency outages and perform repairs as required in a timely manner.

• Relevant certification or qualification as a Linesman or Power Line Technician.
• Proven experience working as a Linesman or in a similar electrical utility role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and power line installation techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites as required.
