Meath is seeking to appoint a commercially focused Project Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role offering exposure to capital projects, operational performance, and strategic initiatives. As a Project Accountant, you will take ownership of financial oversight across key projects and capital investments, ensuring strong cost control, accurate forecasting, and clear performance reporting to senior leadership.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial control and reporting across major operational and capital projects
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and cost performance
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis and insights to the CFO and leadership team
  • Support CAPEX planning, investment appraisals, and post-project reviews
  • Partner with operations to identify efficiencies and margin improvement opportunities
  • Assist with annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
  • Support month-end processes including cost and inventory analysis
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and project reporting tools
About You
  • Qualified Accountant (0-3 PQE)
  • Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • ERP experience beneficial
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
