A multinational company Fleet Management company with a strong North American and Oceanic presence, is hiring a Strategic Data and Analytics Director for their Dublin office, as a result of their European expansion. This role demands adaptability to monthly market shifts, extensive collaboration with risk, operations, and sales teams for data exchange, and leadership in managing an analyst team for impactful reporting. The Strategic Data and Analytics Director is responsible for timely creation and updating of critical models, defining reporting and metrics strategy for leasing, asset value documentation, and monitoring portfolio performance and analytics.Key Responsibilities:

Define and develop the metrics and data modeling strategy and roadmap for leasing reporting and visualizations
Manage team of Strategic Data Analysts to deliver effective reporting solutions designed for client consumption, ensuring alignment to overarching Commercial and Operational reporting standards and requirements
Conduct in-depth market research on assigned asset classes utilizing database subscriptions, data analytics, industry connections, trade publications, and other sources, which will be used to drive leasing and services strategy
On a monthly schedule, update/redevelop fair market value forecasts for assigned asset classes including incorporating new vehicles entering the market
Annually, complete a study of current market conditions, asset performance and market expectations for the next 12 months
Prepare and deliver quarterly reviews of value performance on assigned asset classes
Provide residual positions on exception transactions. Follow-up and resolve questions or issues of various stakeholders in transaction approval processes. Perform valuation due diligence on business development, mergers and acquisitions, and portfolio purchase activities

The Strategic Data & Analytics Director will have demonstrable experience in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access with experience with statistical tools such as Minitab and SAS.
