The Company: Film and Television Production and FinanceOur client is the Irish office of a high profile accountancy firm providing accounts preparation, audit and taxation advice for International film and production companies based in Ireland. The Irish Film & TV sector is experiencing phenomenal growth and our client anticipates doubling its staff numbers over the coming year.The Position: Senior AccountantThe role will involve the delivery of quality accounts preparation and auditing services for high profile clients within the Film and TV sector. Duties will involve:
  • Work on a range of accounts preparation and auditing assignments, coordinating and taking responsibility for planning, execution and completion.
  • Work on ad-hoc assignments and projects.
  • Development and support junior staff.
  • Ongoing interaction with client management to deliver accounting information within defined deadlines.
  • Present reports to management on issues identified during assignments.
  • Report directly to firm partners, directors and managers, working towards the achievement of individual firm goals and targets.
  • Liaise with other professional departments including Tax, Audit and Corporate Compliance.
This pro-active role will involve extensive client contact with an emphasis on providing an overall service to each client and also developing the range of business services within the firm.Candidate Profile
  • Candidates should have qualified within a quality accountancy firm level within a quality practice, with good accounts preparation
  • excellent client-facing skills
  • Self-starter
