- Being pro-active in identifying and driving forward initiatives which help to streamline processes and mitigate risk for the business
- Development and delivery of training on Quality and Risk Management areas
- Assist engagement teams when they are setting up new clients and new engagements to include -
- completion of Client Acceptance and Engagement Acceptance within EY's Risk Management Tools
- performance of independence checks,
- preparation for oversight committees e.g., IT Oversight Committee or Managed Services oversight Committee
- Assist with the running and enhancement of the Quality performance management process for all Ireland Consulting Partners and Associate Partners
- Preparation and issuing of communications and insights to the business and partner group
- Preparation of monthly Quality and Risk Mgmt reports, to include analysing basic data sets
- Reviewing client contracts / engagement letters to identify clauses that are not in line with firm policy, and to identify areas where such contracts could be strengthened.
- Manage our monthly in-flight engagement reviews. This will involve reviewing contracts and internal risk approvals to ensure (a) that engagement teams are complying with internal risk policy(s); and (b) to provide engagement teams with recommendations and advice on how they can improve their risk practices going forward
- Liaising with internal Risk Management teams on an ongoing basis to include Independence, Legal, Financial Crime and Risk Management
- Liaising with Consulting engagement teams, including Engagement Partners, on identifying and resolving quality, legal and risk management concerns

- Ability to effectively manage a demanding workload with tight deadlines in a fast-paced, challenging, and demanding environment
- Ability to manage complex discussions and meetings, with varying staff levels, to successfully influence outcomes
- Experience in reviewing commercial contracts or other complex contracts and framework agreements (with an appreciation of general legal, data privacy and risk management issues) would be very helpful
- Legal qualifications and / or legal training would be very helpful
- Knowledge of GDPR or other data protection considerations would be helpful but not essential
- An understanding of managing government information requirements would be helpful but not essential
