Salary - €35k - €40k DOEGi Group Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Junior Sales Executive for our client in Galway City.
Our client is one of Ireland's largest food producers offering a broad range of sausages and puddings chilled or frozen and raw or pre-cooked formats going back four generations to 1975.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Executive to join their team within the food manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales, retail or food service who is looking to develop a career in business development and account management within the food industry.
The successful candidate will support the sales team in managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of food products to retail and food service clients across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in developing and managing relationships with retail and food service customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the retail, hospitality, and food service sectors.
- Conduct client visits and product presentations to promote the company's food product range.
- Assist in managing existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to help inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams including production, logistics, and marketing to ensure smooth order fulfilment and product delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM records, and account documentation.
- Support promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches when required.
- 1-3 years' experience in sales, retail, food service, or hospitality.
- Strong interest in the food manufacturing and FMCG sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, organised, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good commercial awareness and customer service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM systems is an advantage.
- Full clean driving licence required.
