- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of products, ensuring accurate stock control and efficient order fulfilment.
- Maintain warehouse logistics and inventory management to optimise stock levels and minimise discrepancies.
- Ensure all products, parts, and materials are properly handled, stored, and accounted for.
- Implement and uphold health & safety standard of practices within the warehouse environment.
- Customer Service & Counter Sales
- Manage the counter sales function, ensuring excellent customer service and seamless order processing.
- Assist customers with product selection, quotations, and technical inquiries.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and sales team to ensure product availability and after-sales support.
- Coordinate service repairs and maintenance to deliver high-quality, timely service.
- Oversee invoices, credit control, and debt collection, ensuring timely payments and accurate financial records.
- Monitor financial performance and contribute to operational planning and reporting.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, couriers, and service providers to maintain cost-effective and reliable supply chains.
- Lead and support a team of six, fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with EPS Group policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in an operations, logistics, or branch management role, ideally within a distribution, technical sales, or service environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in water treatment, pumps, or related technical products is a strong advantage.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a small team.
- Customer-Focused: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers and resolve issues effectively.
- Operational Expertise: Hands-on experience in stock management, logistics, and order processing.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of invoicing, debt collection, and financial reporting.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, warehouse management software, and Microsoft Office.
