The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, and prescribing medications and other treatments as required.Key Responsibilities:- Conducting patient consultations and examinations
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Prescribing medications and other treatments as required
- Referring patients to specialists for further evaluation and treatment
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Participating in the on-call rota as requiredSkills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical skills and medical knowledge
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptabilityQualifications:- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Current registration with the Irish Medical Council
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in Ireland
