Electrical Building Services Engineers - Dublin, Cork, GalwayOffice Location: Dublin, Cork, GalwayEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office based/HybridPay: €50,000 - €60,000Experience: 3+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur Client is a multinational multidiscipline Engineering consultancy working on various infrastructure projects across Ireland.They are seeking a Electrical Building Services Engineers to their M&E team who can be based in Dublin, Cork or Galway office.You will work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer on all aspects of project delivery from concept to hand-over.You will contribute to feasibility studies, option appraisals, scheme and detail design using calculation spreadsheets, specialist electrical design software (e.g Amtech, Dialux), AutoCAD and Revit.The role also involves visiting sites during the construction stage to monitor progress and quality of the installation works.You will work closely with other team members both in the company and the wider design team such as architects and structural engineers and you will be expected to attend client meetings and demonstrate excellent values and behaviours.Complete Electrical Engineering Design on Projects as part of an integrated project team.Design and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards.Working directly with clients and project engineers to lead technical solutions.Carrying out electrical building services design, working solo on smaller projects, or as part of a larger electrical team, under a Senior Engineer, on larger more complex projects.Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including, design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.Provide off site technical support to construction teams on projects.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have minimum Level 8 qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent such as Energy or Building Services)Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or CIBSE would be advantageous.3+ years experience in a consultancyStrong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering Services & DesignDegree in Electrical or Building Services EngineeringProven relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environmentKnowledge & experience of current Electrical Design standardsExperience in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office Suite Software, and also specialist electrical design software packages (e.g Amtech, Dialux)Experience of client, vendor & contractor interaction & management.A good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team.Excellent level of attention to detail.Package€50,000 - €60,000HybridFlexible hoursPensionHealthcareContactAndrew Taylor is the consultant managing this position.If you are an Electrical Engineer and interested roles based in Ireland.
