As a Workday Integration Engineer at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maximize the value of their Workday system through seamless integrations with other enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in areas such as HR Core, Absence, Recruitment, Compensation and Data to design, develop and implement integrations to truly embed Workday into a client's system landscape. You will partner with client specialists across HR, Payroll, IT and Finance to deliver E2E value for the client.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that align with their organizational needs.
- Develop and configure Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
- Implement data transformations, mappings, and validations to ensure accurate and efficient data flow between Workday and external systems.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of integration solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on integration best practices, data governance, and security considerations.
- Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and integration capabilities, and proactively suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
- Design and implement specific Workday functional modules or build integrations to send data from Workday to downstream systems such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Middleware technologies such as Mulesoft, ADP etc..
- Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
- Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Workday Integration Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Workday and its integration tools.
- Proficiency in developing and configuring integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
- Solid understanding of integration concepts, such as web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and API integration frameworks.
- Experience with Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and Workday Report Writer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
