Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School Agriculture and Food Science.We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join the Agri Mental Health research team as a Postdoctoral Researcher for a 9 month project titled “Developing and testing the feasibility and effectiveness of a scalable mental health intervention for farmers in the Irish context.” This project is funded by the Irish Health Service Executives (HSE) National Office for Suicide Prevention and the FBD Trust and aims to address the pressing mental health challenges faced by farmers in Ireland.This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.Salary: POST DOC LEVEL 1 : €42,783 - €49,177 per annumAppointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 16th of April 2024 .Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
