This is a place to make a difference in the world.The Role & What You Will Be DoingResponsible for the set-up, operation and changeover of vial, syringe and cartridge filling equipment. Assist the engineering team with equipment troubleshooting and planned maintenance.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Set-Up Technician role will make an impact:Responsible for Set-up support and changeover of Vial, Syringe and cartridge filling equipment.Assist Engineering Technicians with troubleshooting and planned maintenance of equipment and documenting work to a GMP standard.Assist with spare parts stock takes, consumables, and services to keep equipment schedules compliant.Assist with and support the creation and modification of documentation to support maintenance activities (PM, Data Sheets, Work Instructions, troubleshooting guides).Support compliance related to Safety Events, Quality Events, CAPAs, change management and investigations.Assist with completion of maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans are developed to the necessary standards and best practice to ensure compliance with cGMP and EHS requirements.Comply with cGMP and EHS requirements from a local, global, and regulatory perspective.You will be required to be flexible in this position and must be prepared to work overtime; shift cover and other works as may be assigned to your role by the company.About Your Skills & ExperienceFor this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:Minimum of a Leaving Cert qualification and a minimum of 2-3 years industry experience.Good Interpersonal / Communication skills.Structured decision making.Computer literacy (Word, Excel).Report preparationMust have a working knowledge of requirements within a cGMP regulated environment.Position functions with supervision days and evenings, for night shift minimal supervision.Leaving Cert Level mathematics.Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems.May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms to lift and scoop. May be required to lift or maneuver boxes or containers using lifting equipment, as well as physically pushing, rolling, or lifting. May be required to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to respiratory protection, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes and protective clothing.
