eir business talent are seeking applications for an IT Support Engineer, this is a 12-month day rate contract located in Carlow.This is an onsite role Monday – FridayRequirements:
  • Provide high-quality, hands-on technical support for laptops, mobile devices, networks, servers, printers, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Offer “smart-hands” support for data center infrastructure, including physical installation, cabling, hardware diagnostics, and component replacement for servers, switches, and routers.
  • Manage the end-to-end IT equipment lifecycle, including asset management, inventory, and secure disposal.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of IT incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues as needed and monitoring service levels to drive improvement.
  • Proven experience in an IT support or infrastructure role, with hands-on technical capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, end-user comting).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and solve problems proactively.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for technology and innovation
