  • Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of substation projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timelines, and resource management strategies specific to substation construction and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and contractors to ensure all design and installation work meets regulatory and safety standards.
  • Identify project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and produce regular reports to update stakeholders on progress and budget status.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
  • Lead project review meetings and schedule evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future project methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in project management for HV power substations, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of substation design, equipment, and installation processes.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and tools.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
