- The principal areas of responsibility of the Data Analyst will be as follows:
- Help to create and advise on creation of key dashboards to support the organisations goals.
- Support the planning and implementation of various data projects, including offering advice on best visualisation of data appropriate to desired output.
- Support various projects by contributing to various organisation-level data- related issues, primarily by participating in cross-divisional projects and meetings led by the Head of IT.
- Be a key contributor to driving data led story telling in the organisation.
- Support and assist other business teams in developing appropriate analysis, dashboards and analytical capabilities for use in regulatory decision making; and
- Ensure appropriate processes are in place for data collection, validation, analysis and reporting in line with The Company's various data standards and policies.
- Compatibility Directive (EMC). Market surveillance of products is a requirement of the EU Single Market to ensure that products on the market are compliant with the applicable laws.
- Data visualisation and reporting: proficiency in BI tools (Power BI preferred)
- Ability to create dashboards and reports and to communicate insights effectively
- Ability to perform statistical analysis, data validation and data monitoring (using simple scripts for data processing and automation)
- Ability to use APIs for data integration and reporting.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills with ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Appreciation for Machine Learning concepts and an awareness of AI applications
- Ability to work with and collaborate within and across divisions.
- Experience in storytelling with data.
- Proven experience in supporting the delivery of projects, in an individual and team capacity.
- Familiar with data governance and security compliance processes
- Experience in data analysis processes based on agreed organisation standards and policies.
- Experience of working in the telecommunications or similarly regulated industry, whether in a governmental organisation, consultancy or corporate entity.
- Presentation skills.
