Mechanical Engineer – Senior / Intermediate (Data Centres)
Location: Dublin, Ireland | Type: Permanent or Contract | Salary: €85,000–€105,000 + BenefitsA leading international consultancy with a strong reputation in data centre design, sustainability, and building services is seeking Mechanical Engineers (Senior/Intermediate level) to join their Dublin-based team.The Role:
  • Deliver detailed mechanical design including HVAC, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH, air systems, and cooling strategies.
  • Coordinate designs with electrical, fire, and architectural disciplines.
  • Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments.
  • Work on projects across Europe for major hyperscale and colocation clients.
  • Support site inspections, commissioning, and handover.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer (Building Services or equivalent).
  • 5–10 years’ mechanical design experience, ideally with data centre or large-scale technical buildings.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, heat recovery, and sustainability best practices.
  • Experience using Revit, Navisworks, and IES preferred.
