- Own and maintain the end-to-end demand forecast for assigned channels or product lines, analysing historical trends, market dynamics, promotions, and customer insights to improve forecast accuracy.
- Lead monthly demand review meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Key Account teams.
- Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements in partnership with external supply planning teams.
- Monitor inventory health, ensuring balanced stock levels and optimal service levels while proactively identifying and resolving supply risks.
- Take full ownership of the monthly S&OP cycle, coordinating demand review, supply review, integrated reconciliation, and executive S&OP meetings.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment across demand, supply, financial plans, and risk/opportunity assessments.
- Present key insights, performance variances, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and Brand Partners.
- Act as the direct point of contact for Brand Partners, managing relationships and leading the planning agenda for the assigned category.
- Partner with the Head of Channel and Commercial Team to align on customer forecasts, promotions, launch plans, and distribution strategies.
- Track and report on key KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, customer service levels, inventory turns, and OTIF performance.
- Identify drivers of variance and implement corrective actions and continuous process improvements across planning practices.
- Support category expansion initiatives and operational strategy improvements through data-driven planning.
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working within an S&OP process, demand planning, supply planning, or commercial operations role.
- Strong analytical capability with proven forecasting experience.
- Proficiency with planning systems such as SAP 4HANA or D365, with advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading planning processes.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning metrics and performance management.
- Knowledge of the Irish grocery and convenience retail market is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
