Flexiforce a Hartley People company are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Cleaner to join our team based in County Kilkenny. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the factory premises, in compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be proactive, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and efficiency of our facility. Full training on cleaning procedures and safety protocols will be provided where necessary.Key Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning of production and non-production areas
Clean and sanitize factory floors, walls, workstations, and equipment
Empty bins and safely dispose of waste in designated areas
Ensure cleaning materials are used and stored properly
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including correct use of cleaning chemicals
Report maintenance issues or potential hazards promptly
Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
Adhere to cleaning schedules and deep-cleaning routines
Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times
Support general housekeeping and maintenance duties as directed
Key Requirements
Previous cleaning experience (industrial or factory setting preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided if needed)
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including repetitive movement and prolonged periods of standing
Reliable and punctual
Good understanding of English
