- Act on behalf of EPS as PSCS, Site Management of all matters relating Health Safety Quality & Environmental.
- Develop and encourage a culture of innovation and initiative to all matters HSQE.
- Site inductions and weekly took box talks management on-site.
- Prepare where required, review and authorise RAMS/ SPAs from all contractors on site, submission of same to client and act on any recommendations or amendments.
- Supervision and monitoring of all site activities to ensure compliance with RAMS/ SPAs.
- Act as Temporary Works Coordinator, review risk assessments, design considerations, and coordination with contractors.
- Comply with contract KPS to ensure audit scores are maintained to the highest standards, liaising with the Site PM to develop audit schedules.
- Responsibility for site HSQE and Ecology audits on behalf of EPS, closing out action items.
- Implementation of EPS Construction and Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
- Represent EPS on all stakeholder and general public HSQE communications
- Prepare HSQE information for inclusion in monthly progress reports and presentation.
- Assist in the compilation of the project safety file / O&M file for handover
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in PC skills to include MS office.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater Industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role.
- Full EU/ Irish driving licence.
