An established Construction Supplies business in the North Galway area is looking to recruit a ‘Senior Yard Operative’ on a permanent basis.Job location - Galway (May also suit candidates in Galway bordering towns of Roscommon)Working hours - 9 to 5.30 ( Please note Saturday work involved )Hourly rate – DOE, Competitive hourly rate on offerDuties to include
  • Loading and unloading lorries using forklift
  • Monitoring goods in and goods out
  • Responsible for the general up keep of the yard
  • Monitor stock levels
  • Moving and driving of machinery
  • Assisting customers in the yard area
  • Data inputting & Record keeping
  • Deliveries
Candidate profile
  • Strong knowledge of DIY, Construction supplies
  • Forklift driving experience would be an advantage
  • Trailer License an advantage
  • Previous experience in working in an Construction Supplies store would be an advantage
