Being a Software Development Engineer in CloudFront Routing organization, you will have the ownership on the core components (like Anti-DDoS, Flash traffic management, DNS Services, Anycast @scale, Availability systems and services).Our engineers are empowered to make self-driven decisions on the right technologies to solve problems at Global Scale. So, you will be writing docs to get feedback and consensus from other Sr. Engineers/Principal Engineers to make decisions in finding the optimal solutions for large scale problems, picking programming language (we use Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python), selecting native AWS services, purpose-built infrastructure in the edges for meeting the goals.You will also have the end-to-end ownership opportunity on all aspects of service life cycle ideation, design, development, building monitoring and alerting and then operationalizing the services that you build.The services that our team built have handled the traffic for several million concurrent viewers during the live events like Cricket World Cup, FIFA World Cup, Thursday Night Football etc. So, you will learn and incorporate the data points to make decisions in building the services for future traffic growth.About the team

- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
