- Provide tier 1 support for the IT network, addressing user issues and troubleshooting problems along with the current IT Managed Services solution provider.
- Manage and maintain the Office 365 environment, including user account setup, permissions, and security.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Manage and support the ongoing development, maintenance and deployment of our platform built on MS Dynamics.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT network, ensuring its reliability and efficiency.
- Implement and manage firewall and anti-virus/malware defences to protect the network from security threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Manage SharePoint installations, configurations, and maintenance.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technologies to improve business processes.
- Manage PowerPages and MS Dynamics solutions to enhance user productivity and business efficiency.
- Develop and enforce cyber security policies and procedures.
- Monitor the network for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends and threats.
- Maintain and update the organisation’s WordPress site.
- Provide support for Azure cloud services and other digital platforms.
- Utilise programming skills (Java and other languages) to support various IT projects.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Manager, Systems Analyst, System Administrator, IT Project Manager or similar.
- Strong knowledge of network administration and support.
- Proficiency in managing Office 365 environments.
- Experience with SharePoint installations and configurations.
- Familiarity with PowerPages, MS Dynamics, Azure, and WordPress.
- Understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Java and other programming languages is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
