Job Purpose: It is essential that the client's site is maintained to excellent standards. To enable this the position is a two-part position.Main Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision (and direction where needed) of all cleaning team activities
Maintaining excellent client relationship
Advocating and developing a positive team spirit which will involve maintaining and developing high levels of safety, health, and environmental protection
Monitoring of work through daily spot checks, audits, and staff interactions to ensure high standards are maintained
Management of staff rosters to ensure absenteeism and annual leave cover
Resolution of issues where they arise in a professional manner, and fair treatment of all
Management of wages and holidays
Preparation of work schedules / rosters
Implementation of (including the arrangement of) staff training when required
Other works as needed
Person SpecificationEssential Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:
Cleaning experience is essential
Supervisor experience will be an advantage, but training will be provided
Computer literate is an advantage, but training will be provided
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communicator
High sense of responsibility
Ability to identify issues and take action when needed in a safe and timely manner
Ability to empower and motivate others
Open to feedback, responds to coaching and is a skilled learner
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, within the department and across other departments
