- Provide remote technical support to Line Engineers operating at various ASL line stations throughout Europe
- Assisting in the efficient rectification of aircraft defects
- Recovery and repair of AOG aircraft, supporting all aspects of returning an aircraft to service.
- Constantly communicating with flight crew to ascertain the nature of any technical defects reported.
- Liaising with the OCC Department in prioritizing flight operational requirements.
- Monitoring of aircraft Deferred Defects (DD) and Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) defects to ensure rectification in timely manner.
- Project work as requested by the MCC Manager.
- Reviewing Technical Delays & Cancellations to ensure root cause is identified & corrective preventative action is applied.
- Monitoring AMOS Repeat Tracker for any adverse trends & investigating repetitive defects.
- Hold an EASA Part 66 license (B1,B2 or B1 / B2) with a type rating on B737 NG or similar Aircraft type.
- Have at least 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance preferably on B737 NG or similar Aircraft type.
- Preferably have experience in a Maintenance Control environment.
- A willingness to work shift patterns as required. The position is office based in our Head Office in Swords.
- Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and to adapt quickly within a dynamic situation.
- Excellent computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) particularly in Excel.
- Knowledge of a recognised aircraft maintenance & engineering computer system such as AMOS,OASES or TRAX.
