Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the M&E sector.
Proficient knowledge of M&E construction methods, materials, and technologies.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

As a QS:

Estimate M&E project costs accurately, covering materials, labour, and equipment.
Monitor costs, seeking savings and managing risks.
Review and uphold project budgets, meeting financial goals.
Manage M&E materials and subcontractor procurement efficiently.
Source, negotiate, and secure favourable prices and terms.
Evaluate subcontractor tenders and contracts meticulously.
Administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance.
Manage variations, claims, and change orders to maximize profitability.
Offer contractual guidance, resolving commercial issues promptly.
Generate precise and timely cost reports and forecasts.
Monitor cash flow and financial performance, taking corrective action when needed.
Present reports to management, highlighting insights and recommendations.
Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Mitigate commercial and contractual risks for project success.
Collaborate on risk mitigation plans with project teams.

The Package:The salary & package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably.
