
Purchasing & Logistics Assistant

- Raise and process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Track incoming shipments and ensure on-time delivery, escalating delays as needed.
- Coordinate logistics and freight for both domestic and international deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery notes, and supplier performance.
- Support stock management by monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock reconciliations.
- Work closely with finance to ensure accurate invoice matching and approval.
- Assist with customs documentation and import procedures, when required.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in purchasing and logistics without compromising service or quality
- Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or logistics support role (minimum 1-2 years ideal).
- Strong user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a team-focused mindset.
