Job PurposeAs part of our strategic growth in the utilities and infrastructure sector, WH Scott Group is seeking an Experienced Contract Management Agent to oversee and coordinate utility inspection works across client contracts. This role requires a dynamic and solution-focused leader who can manage daily operational delivery including resource planning, rostering, reactive and preventive actions, reporting, and client communication, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
  • Manage all aspects of planned and reactive utility inspection works.
  • Lead the coordination of inspection teams across multiple sites and contracts.
  • Develop and manage rostering, resource allocation, and shift planning.
  • Oversee the deployment of crews for emergency or reactive works.
  • Contract Delivery & Compliance
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with contract terms, timelines, and budgets.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance and inspection schedules.
  • Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors for contract performance.
  • Client and Team Interaction
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients.
  • Lead daily team briefings and review meetings.
  • Facilitate clear reporting between crews, engineering teams and clients
  • Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
  • Produce daily/weekly reports.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records.
  • Health, Safety & Quality
  • Promote a safe working culture.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract or field operations management, ideally within utilities or inspection services.
  • Strong experience in rostering, reactive response coordination, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage field-based teams and liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and mobile workforce tools
