Due to a very successful year in 2025 and the start of 2026, the Manufacturing Group has a requirement for a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a newly created role and reports directly to the CFO and the COO. This role will play a crucial role in driving the success of the business by managing budgets, forecasting performance, and providing strategic insights. We ensure financial stability and support our business partners in decision-making.The creation of this role is driven by our commitment to data-led decision-making and strategic investment. At a pivotal moment in our growth journey, you will provide the financial stewardship and strategic guidance for significant capital deployment and commercial initiatives.
It's a fast-paced role and requires a structured thinker and strong problem solver who can integrate themselves within a business and take the lead on strategic decision-making.Your Day-to-day
  • Act as a trusted financial co-pilot to departmental leadership, providing insightful analysis and constructive challenge to drive optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Understand the relationship between trading performance and operational drivers, delivering insight and actionable recommendations to improve ROI and profitability.
  • Build influential relationships across your partner function, embedding yourself within the team to become the go-to expert for all financial matters.
  • Develop and own robust financial frameworks for commercial investments, from initial proposal to post-investment review, including leading on financial due diligence for new initiatives.
  • Partner with teams to structure deals or projects, evaluate risk, and present compelling business cases to the executive leadership team for approval.
  • Establish and manage tracking and reporting processes to monitor the performance of deployed capital against budget and the effectiveness of broader commercial strategies.
  • Support the month-end process by providing commercial insight and commentary, identifying risks and opportunities for the FP&A team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support wider business initiatives and business-wide transformation projects
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Finance professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent)
  • Who has worked in a similar role
