Salary € 60,000-80,000The RoleCompany Accountant -PermanentAthlone. Co WestmeathOFFICE BASEDReporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the day to day operations of the Finance Function. In addition the role has a strong emphasis on adding commercial value.Responsibilities;
- To develop and deliver financial and management accounting control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Company.
- Assisting with analysis and understanding of financial reports with regard to key performance indicators.
- Continuous review of products and margins and influence in key commercial decisions on pricing and product range.
- Management of stock recording system ensuring system accurately reflects stock on hand on a continuous basis.
- Tight financial control of the Company.
- Preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Cash management - controls over cash flow actual and projections
- Tax compliance and returns.
- Liaison with the Company's external financial advisers on all finance issues.
- Year-end Audit sign off.
- Continuous review and management of overheads.
- Management of the finance team
