Job Description: We are seeking a motivated, organised and empathetic individual to fill the position of Community Employment (CE) Supervisor. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of the CE programme, ensuring the effective delivery of work placements and training opportunities for CE participants. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and support CE participants in line with (DSP) guidelines. • Develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and progression plans with participants. • Maintain accurate records, reports and returns to the Department of Social Protection. • Liaise with the sponsoring body, DSP officers, host organisations and training providers. • Monitor attendance, performance and support needs of CE participants. • Ensure compliance with health & safety, employment law and CE operating procedures. Essential Requirements: • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. • At least 3 years experience in administration, community development, training/supervisory work. • Experience in people management and reporting procedures. • Strong ICT skills (e.g. MS Office). • Full clean drivers license. Desirable: • Relevant 3rd level qualification (e.g. Social Care, Community Development, HR, Training & Ed). • Experience in working with long-term unemployed individuals or marginalized groups. Terms of Employment: Full-time position - working 39 hours per week. The salary for the role is the DSP Supervisor Salary Scale, commencing at Point 1 on the scale. Please submit cv and cover letter.
