Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a junior professional to develop their career in Health & Safety within a fast-paced engineering environment. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across our projects and facilities.Key Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of company health and safety procedures and policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits under supervision.
Support the investigation of incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
Assist with risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site personnel.
Monitor and report on site safety performance.
Keep up to date with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE practices.
Maintain H&S documentation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Requirements

A relevant third-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline (Level 7/8).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full clean driving licence (required for site travel).
Some prior site-based experience (placement/internship) is an advantage but not essential.
