Kitchen Porter (Part Time)We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at The Maritime Hotel. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to the smooth running of our culinary operations, helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.About the roleKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, sanitary, and well-organizedWash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to high hygiene standardsProperly handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recyclingSupport chefs with general kitchen tasks as requiredMonitor stock of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is neededAdhere strictly to health & safety and food hygiene guidelines at all timesIdeal CandidatePrevious experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essentialFlexible, reliable, and committed to upholding cleanliness and hygieneA team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitudePhysically fit and able to handle manual tasks in a busy kitchen environmentOur Commitment to Diversity & InclusionThe Maritime Hotel is an equal opportunity employer.
