This job is mainly focused on electrical work, but you will also need to use some mechanical and computer skills. Every day will be different, and you'll have a chance to learn and grow.Duties:
- Check and maintain equipment regularly to prevent problems.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and fix faults.
- Work on machines like motors, sensors, PLCs (control systems), compressors, boilers, and more.
- Update and create electrical drawings (we use AutoCAD).
- Help install new machines and make changes to improve performance.
- Keep spare parts organised and make sure we have what we need.
- Work safely and keep your work area clean and tidy.
- Be part of a team, but also able to work on your own when needed.
- Take part in projects to help improve how the plant runs.
- You have experience working as an industrial or maintenance electrician.
- You understand how to work with electrical systems and controls.
- You can read and understand technical drawings.
- You have good problem-solving and communication skills.
- You care about working safely and doing a quality job.
- You are happy to also do some basic mechanical work (training can be given).
- You're a team player but can work on your own when needed.
