Technology plays a central role in enabling business performance, security, and digital innovation across the organisation.This position sits within a collaborative IT team responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure services across on-prem and cloud environments.This is a 6 month contract with potential of extension.The RoleYou will be responsible for supporting and enhancing core infrastructure platforms including servers, virtualisation, storage, networking, and Microsoft 365 cloud services.Key focus areas include:Supporting on-prem and cloud infrastructure (M365, Azure AD/Entra ID, virtualisation, storage, networking)Monitoring performance, capacity, availability, and resilienceManaging patching, upgrades, and configuration changesActing as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issuesAdministering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Conditional Access, MFA)Supporting ITIL-based incident, problem, and change processesPartnering with security teams on vulnerability remediation and complianceContributing to infrastructure modernisation and cloud adoption initiativesDriving automation, optimisation, and continuous improvementExperience5+ years' experience in IT infrastructure or technical operationsStrong Microsoft ecosystem experience (Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP)Proven Microsoft 365 administration experienceExperience with VMware or similar virtualisation platformsSolid networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing, switching)Understanding of ITIL processesRelevant certifications desirable (Microsoft 365, Cisco, ITIL, Azure Fundamentals)
