The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on offsite construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning onsite construction time is kept to a minimum.Role DescriptionThe OSM Lead will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of off-site manufacturing of modular building and skid production to support all projects.This role ensures that off-site manufacturing processes align with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Oversee and coordinate all Group OSM activities across the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through fabrication, assembly, transportation, and on-site installation. Ensure delivery aligns with agreed schedules and budgets.Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes throughout fabrication and assembly. Lead inspections and testing to verify all components meet specified standards and performance requirements.Plant & Logistics Management: Manage the effective operation of the OSM facility, including plant, tools, and equipment. Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and completed modules to site.Risk Management: Proactively identify risks within the OSM process and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues in design, fabrication, and logistics.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all OSM activities adhere to applicable safety regulations and industry standards. Champion a strong safety culture across teams and all project phases.Design Coordination: Work closely with design and engineering teams to integrate OSM solutions into project delivery, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client specifications.Required Qualifications And Experience
Qualification or background in Structural/Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management within a contracting environment
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction with a Mechanical Contractor, including at least 5 years in a management role
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Highly developed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong numerical ability with clear, concise report-writing skills
Commercially aware with the ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
