- Assist in the design and delivery of water and wastewater schemes across various project stages, from feasibility to detailed design, contract document preparation, and construction administration.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of project deliverables and contractual requirements.
- Report to and communicate with the Project Manager throughout project execution, taking ownership of delegated tasks and duties.
- Support the Project Manager in managing and monitoring project delivery within defined budget and program requirements.
- Prepare designs, technical specifications, and contract documents.
- Write project reports.
- Experience in the design and delivery of water/wastewater schemes.
- Knowledge of different contract types (FIDIC, NEC, Public Works, Irish Water).
- Understanding of safety and health regulations in the design process.
- Demonstrable ability to work as a team member reporting to senior staff.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment or independently to achieve project goals.
- Membership of, or eligibility to join, Engineers Ireland.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail and ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems is essential.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
