
Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance

- Manage technician holidays and shift coverage.
- Conduct 1:1 reviews with team members.
- Carry out performance discussions.
- Liaise with the training coordinator to create and improve training plans for team members.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with STAR and other training requirements.
- Conduct interviews for new technicians.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Respond to ERT alerts and safety concerns across the fab, subfab, and mezzanine.
- Complete incident reports.
- Manage work permits, including approval and gas/fire sensor isolation.
- Oversee fab equipment activities.
- Attend manufacturing bunker meetings and liaise with the production supervisor on equipment priorities.
- Document shift handover reports.
- Coordinate maintenance work with external contractors and facilities groups.
- Manage preventive maintenance (PM) task lists across workcentres.
- Initiate escalations and call-outs for critical equipment issues.
- Scrap ownership, investigation, and diagnosis.
- Work closely with the Equipment Engineering & Days/Evenings Technicians to meet & exceed the Department & Site KPIs.
- Achieve shift and departmental KPIs, including Shift Activity, MTTR, MTBF, Tool Availability, and Costs.
- Manage cover and overtime budgets.
- Manage daily on-shift activities, prioritize and allocate resources effectively for PMs and UMs.
- A strong base knowledge of the complex activities and interactions involved across cleanroom operations.
