Overview:The Sustainability Specialist 1 supports Cook Medical’s Social Impact & Sustainability function by maintaining environmental data, supporting disclosures, collaborating across functions, and contributing to decarbonization and circularity initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Collect and validate environmental performance data (energy, water, waste, refrigerants).
  • Support Scope 1 & 2 GHG inventory and Scope 3 screening.
  • Maintain ISO 14001–aligned documentation and audit evidence.
  • Assist with CSRD/ESRS, GRI, CDP disclosures.
  • Support energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.
  • Assist on packaging sustainability and EPR data.
  • Support supplier ESG data requests.
  • Prepare presentations and internal communications.
  • Identify workflow and documentation improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Policy, or a related field or equivalent experience preferable.
  • Internship or project experience in sustainability or operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions.
Exposure to ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, CSRD/GRI/CDP highly recommended.Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) advantageous.
