Finishing Foreman – Naas RoadD.O.E: €65K – €75KOverview:O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting a Finishing Foreman to join a main contractor on a large residential development project on the Naas Road. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all internal and external finishing works, ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standard, on programme, and in compliance with health & safety and quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all finishing trades including carpentry, joinery, drylining, painting, tiling, flooring, kitchens, wardrobes, and final fit-out works
  • Supervise and direct subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification
  • Ensure all finishes meet quality standards and client expectations
  • Carry out snagging inspections, manage snag lists, and ensure timely close-out
  • Coordinate with Site Manager, Project Manager, design teams, and subcontractors
  • Monitor progress against programme and report issues or delays
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate site records, inspections, and progress reports
  • Assist with handover processes, including final inspections and client walkthroughs
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 6+ years’ site management experience
  • Previous main contractor experience; ideally large-scale structural, external, and groundworks on commercial, mixed-use, residential, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects
  • Third-level qualification or trades background (excellent knowledge of trades)
  • Proven experience as a Finishing Supervisor or Senior Carpenter on residential construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades and high-end residential finishes
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Good understanding of Irish building regulations and H&S requirements
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple trades simultaneously
