Hartley People Recruitment are seeking experienced and qualified Artic Drivers to join our client’s team in Fermoy, County Cork. The driver will be responsible for transporting hazardous materials safely and efficiently to various destinations within a network of clients in the food and pharmaceutical sectors.Key responsibilities:

Safely transport hazardous materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies
Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensure it is in optimal condition for transportation.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while prioritizing safety.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have valid and up to date CPC and Tachograph cards
Clean and valid CE/ C1E Licence
