Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
Professional certification or license as a Building Services Engineer.
Proficiency in CAD software for building services design and modeling.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and sustainable building practices.

As a Building Service Engineer:

Designing and specifying heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems for buildings.
Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate building services into overall building design plans.
Overseeing the installation of building services systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and design specifications.
Implementing energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices in building services design and operation.
Conducting energy audits and recommending improvements to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
Evaluating renewable energy technologies for integration into building services systems.
Monitoring and maintaining the performance of building services systems to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
Developing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Staying updated with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to building services engineering.
Ensuring that building services systems comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Obtaining necessary permits and approvals for building services installations and modifications.
Managing building services projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

The Package:The salary & package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably.
