- Support delivery of sales targets and identify upselling/product growth opportunities.
- Assist and work closely with drivers and support key customer relationships.
- Monitor sales performance across routes.
- Handle customer queries and service issues professionally.
- Act as key support for customer accounts.
- Support route planning, scheduling, and provide delivery cover when needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
- Assist with rota preparation and provide day‑to‑day support to drivers as well as onboarding of new team members.
- Monitor route performance and support operational improvements.
- Monitor staff performance and promote team standards.
- Support stock control and return levels.
- Assist with credit control and follow‑up on overdue accounts.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, transport regulations, and company standards.
- Deputise for Sales Manager and support reporting and performance tracking.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or route operations.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to support and supervise team members.
- Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of logistics/distribution (advantageous).
