Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

- Check order and dockets prior to departure.
- Ensure deliveries are delivered on time.
- Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
- Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
- Ensure loads are secured pre-departure. Adherence to compliance with Health and Safety and Road Safety.
- Multi drops and Branch to Branch runs.
- Driving long and/or short distances.
- Planning delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
- Handling freight in a safe, efficient manner.
- Helping load and unload goods.
- Documenting the required important readings and lorry quantities including commodities in the driver's logbook.
- Build excellent customer relationships.
- Forklift License.
- Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time keeping.
- Be highly motivated and can work to set deadlines.
- Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Good road knowledge of surrounding areas.
