Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic EMEA team on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent position. They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage and process the monthly payroll for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for several countries with varying complexity as part of a blended local and shared services team.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the finance department, HR, external payroll service providers, and banking partners.
  • Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely execution of payroll processing by coordinating and securing data inputs, validating all data, and ensuring timely payments to employees.
  • Maintain accurate and timely company and employee records in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage employee benefit registrations and records, as well as vacation accruals and payouts.
  • Prepare and submit all required monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
  • Assist with year-end balancing and filing, and ensure third-party remittances are paid on time.
  • Manage and resolve employee and manager queries and issues with a high level of customer service.
  • Collaborate with HR project teams and participate in the transition of payroll services.
  • Handle employee verification requests (employment, mortgage, and wage).
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including year-end balancing, remittances, and summaries for a medium to large company.
  • Experience with MS-Office, SAP, and ADP Streamline is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and tact.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to speak a second European language (French or Italian) would be an advantage.
  • IPASS or HR/Accounting Technician qualification would also be a plus.
