- Assist in managing daily catering operations including staff restaurants, executive dining, meetings, and corporate events
- Ensure all food and beverage services are delivered to agreed standards, specifications, and service times
- Support the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, hospitality, and special events
- Monitor food presentation, portion control, and service quality at all times
- Handle client requests and resolve service issues professionally and promptly
- Supervise catering staff, including chefs, catering assistants, and front-of-house teams
- Support staff training, induction, and development
- Assist with staff rotas, attendance, and cover arrangements
- Promote a positive team culture focused on service excellence and professionalism
- Ensure staff comply with company policies, uniform standards, and behaviour expectations
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
- Carry out and support daily, weekly, and monthly checks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety documentation
- Support audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Assist with stock ordering, receiving, and storage
- Monitor food waste and support cost-control initiatives
- Support budget management and achieve agreed financial targets
- Complete administrative tasks such as reports, allergen records, and service logs
- Act as a key point of contact for corporate clients and internal stakeholders
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Gather feedback and support continuous improvement of services
- Represent the catering team in a professional, customer-focused manner
- Previous experience in corporate, contract, or hospitality catering
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety
- Experience supervising or leading teams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional corporate environment
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Catering or hospitality qualification
- Experience in contract catering or large-scale operations
- Knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens, and nutrition
- Strong financial and stock control experience
