Technically lead a team of architects and Engineers within your discipline, ensuring project goals and deliverables are met with high quality and on time, he/she will be responsible for making design decisions, coordinating technical discussions with customers/suppliers and identifying new tools/platforms/standards as per industry demands.ResponsibilitiesProvide solutions for complex software design problems.Technical design and implementation of ADAS, AD and IVI systems based on High performance SoCs Platforms (Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Renesas).Closely collaborate with other domain experts across SoC/Hardware, Firmware, Safety, Security and Algorithms to define the functional specifications, design modular software components and interaction models, well-defined public and private interfaces, resource management and debugging tools.Lead the system level profiling and optimization of end-to-end use-cases, identify and address bottlenecks across heterogenous computational units and realize efficient implementations.Actively engage with OS and Framework vendors, Automotive OEMs, Tier-1s and ISVs to implement solutions based on High performance platforms.Evaluate, identify and develop solutions for new and changed requirementsIdentify and provide directions for solving critical issues in software and hardware solutionsDecompose and allocate Sw requirements to different teams / architectsContribute to Software Design Reviews and Process Improvement activities as requiredComplete scheduled tasks within assigned projects to deliver as per agreed Timing PlanAdherence to Valeo procedures leading to full SPICE (ISO15504) Compliance for all relevant processes, in particular ENG.4 and ENG.5Help the Software Lead / Software requirements engineers to decompose to different teamsAct as the SPOC with Multiple teams for architectural decisionsHelp Software Lead/Manager in estimation, Change request /feasibility analysisTraining/mentoring of Software architects in the the assigned projectMaintain KPI Lists regarding traceability/coverageTechnically Lead a team of architects for completion of design activitiesMake sure that all architects in the project adhere to the process and Technical review checklistsLead the Communication with Customer regarding Technical topicsParticipate in Software Architecture Design Reviews of other projectsEducation/TrainingHonours Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalentMasters or PhD level qualification would be an advantageStrong in C/C++, One RTOS, Embedded SystemsStrong understanding of QNX/Linux operating system and hands-on experience with QNX/Linux kernel configuration, boot sequence analysis, CPU Load analysis, timing analysisProfessional ExperienceHonours Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalentMasters or PhD level qualification would be an advantage4+ years experience in software architecture and design15 years Embedded software development ideally in automotive industry/ Embedded domainUnderstanding of the software development life cycleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and reporting skillsExperience in process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)Experience in Safety-Critical Design/development would be an added advantageJob: R&D Team Leader/ArchitectOrganization: Software DevelopmentSchedule: Full timeEmployee Status: RegularJob Type: Permanent contractJob Posting Date: 2025-08-26Join Us !
